The No Effing Way Game...Reverse Style.

This game was a classic example of the no effing way game. You know the game where the computer is unstoppable despite his QB is an 82 rating and the HB has 72 speed but burns you everytime. Well, this was exactly that game, except, Wake Forest was the unstoppable force. The Tennessee Volunteers were 3-1 and ranked #20 in the nation after beating #5 ranked Florida in week 3. They were bigger, faster, and stronger. But on the very first play of the game LaMarcus Coker fumbled on their own 20yd line. It led to an early FG that put wake on top 3-0. But it wouldn't be long before Tennessee would figure out that we were Wake Forest University and, well, we were playing football in Knoxville. A 17-3 halftime score was the result. But Coach DeLoye had a plan. Awaiting his team in the locker room was Vallos (RT #75) and his 4 lovely volleyball players. Needless to say the Wake offense and defense came out totally rejuvenated for the second half. Ben Mauk looked like he had had a bionic arm attached to him because he went 8-10 passing in the second half for 3 touchdowns. When it was all said and done, Wake would walk away with a 24-20 victory because of scoring with 20 seconds left and then stopping the Volunteer defense all 4 downs when they were inside the 20 yard line with 10 seconds to go and all 3 timeouts.

Next week's game is against ACC oppenent #19 Clemson(4-1).
