IT WAS A DONE DEAL WHEN
Syracuse senior running back Delone Carter broke a 67 yard TD run to take the air out of our comeback bid following the 61 yard INT return for a TD by cornerback Jason Mason.

GAME BALLS
HB Michael Clark ran well, picking up 59 yards for us. But we had to abandon the run early, so he didn't get much of a chance to run free. ... Freshman TE Curtis Stanley put his 6-7, 265 pound frame to good use when he went up to snare a jumpball for 27 yards. He finished with 3 catches for 49 yards, leading all our receivers.

KEY STATISTICS
Syracuse RB Delone Carter averaged better than 14 yards per carry thanks mostly to a few long TD runs.

NOTES
Sophomore starting QB D.J. McPhearson threw 4 INTs. It's the fourth time in his young career that he's thrown at least 4 picks in a single game.
