Bulldogs D Dominates Wildcats

Athens, GA - Despite Georgia being an A- overall compared to Kentucky's B overall, both Lee & Kirk picked Kentucky to win this game... they were both wrong.

Georgia's defense was outstanding against the #19 Kentucky Wildcats offense. They were especially nasty to QB Andre Woodson, who was sacked 5 times, hurried 8, and Bulldog defenders batted down 10 of his passes. Talk about frustration.

The running game was no better as Kentucky, as a team, rushed 17 times for 9 yards! Most of the imbalance there is because of Andre Woodson losing big yards on sacks. Rafael Little rushed for just 44 yards on 15 carries.

Kentucky's defense did manage to intercept Georgia's QB Matthew Stafford three times, two came by CB Ahmad Grigsby. Wildcats junior linebacker Braxton Kelley recorded 13 tackles in this game and he has an impressive 101 on the season.

Kentucky host rivals Tennessee(6-5) in the last game of the regular season next week.
