Woodson struggles again; Little lifts Wildcats over Golden Flashes

Last week both seniors Andre Woodson and Rafael Little struggled, and the Kentucky Wildcats lost a frustrating game to Ohio. This week, Woodson still struggled but Little's 173 rushing yards & 2 touchdowns lifted Kentucky over Kent State 27-22.

Woodson, for the second straight week, posted four interceptions, looking extremely confused on the field at times. Despite a 74 spd rating, Woodson couldn't escape the pass rush which led to three of his four picks.

"He's really... not playing too well," coach J.Camp said. "Granted we don't have the best offensive line, but every time someone got through the middle, Andre seemed panicked and rushed his throws."

Kentucky's defense deserves a lot of credit for this win, as they mopped up nicely despite being forced into impromptu situations thanks to Woodson's interceptions. The Wildcats defense has allowed just 113 rushing yards in their first two games this year.

The Wildcats can only hope that Woodson can shake off his "senior-year jitters" next week when Kentucky hosts rival Louisville, currently ranked 10th in the nation with a 2-0 record.
