Woodson ends season how it began...

Lexington, KY - ... But even worse.

Andre Woodson opened up the season with a terrible 4 INT game against Ohio. Well, at least he's consistant, because he threw 5 picks against rivals Tennessee in the season finale, as Kentucky lost 44-31, ending the 2007 regular season unranked at 8-4.

Give Woodson some credit though, because three of his five interceptions were ridiculous, one in a million luck picks. Whichever way you slice it, they came at bad times and gave the Volunteers great field position, and they capitalized.

Tennesee QB Erik Ainge had the best game any QB has had against Kentucky's defense all year, picking them apart throwing 18 of 24 for 300yds, 4TD & 2INT.

"Nobody wants to end what could have been a 10 win season with two straight losses," an angered Coach J.Camp commented. "But it happens."

The Wildcats actually had a 17-14 third quarter lead before the Volunteers parade began, in which they scored 24 straight points.

So the 2007 regular season has come to an end, and the Kentucky Wildcats end it unranked with an 8-4(5-3) record. Kentucky received a bid to take on #16 Purdue(9-3) in the Outback Bowl on January 1st, 2008.
