Upset City!

In a great defensive battle until the very end, the Kentucky Wildcats upset the #6 LSU Tigers 17-10, courtesy of a great catch by receiver Keenan Burton with just seconds remaining in the game(pictured above).

However, this game didn't look like the Kentucky team you've been seeing all season. Usually their defense is lights out against the run and shaky against the pass, but for the first time all season an opposing runningback eclipsed 100 yards. Usually the Wildcats set the tempo with their running game, but without injured Rafael Little, Kentucky rushed just 13 times for a whopping 32 yards. Instead it was a sharp game by Andre Woodson that propelled the upset.

The hero Keenan Burton, finished with 94 yards on 7 catches. The senior receiver has 7 TD catches on the season, and one in each of Kentucky's last six games(all wins).

Kentucky's defense played well against LSU's quarterback Matt Flynn, who went 13 of 21 for 159yds & INT. Wildcats cornerback Trevard Lindley really changed the momentum with an 81 yards first quarter fumble return touchdown. All the scoring in this afternoon game was done in the first & final quarter.

After this upset, a 6-1 record & undefeated conference record(3-0) the Kentucky Wildcats are offically ranked #24 in the nation, their best so far in this dynasty. The red hot Wildcats will host the not-so-hot #11 Florida Gators(4-2) next week. The Gators are coming off a bye week, but have lost their last two games to Auburn & were blown out by LSU. A big reason for Florida's lack of wins lately has been due to the injury of their star QB Tim Tebow. Tebow tore his pectoral back in the fourth game of the season, and the Gators are 0-2 without him. Tebow will miss another 3 weeks.
