Season Closes for Monroe at 4-8 (2-5)

The season is finally over and the results are in for many teams on how they did this past year. For the UL-Monroe War Hawks it was a year of ups and downs, highs and lows, excitement and disapointment. Quarterback Kinsmon Lancaster had his good point but threw 15 more interceptions than he did touchdowns with 7 TD's and 22 interceptions. Lancaster had the speed but could not do it through the air. The running game came up better for the War Hawks as they were a lot better than their passing game and in the middle of the pack in the NCAA rankings. The Monroe defense was the key factor for the War Hawks as they were a top the nation in a few categories and got them a few key wins.
Monroe finished 7th in the Sun Belt Conference ahead of Florida Atlantic. The War Hawks look to improve over the offseason and will look to improve on their 4-8 record from this year.
